By Eryka T. Johnson

Did you know that relationships in your life can either bring out the best in you or the absolute worst?

In fact, your biggest challenge is to always have individuals around you who speak to your future and want only the very best for you. It’s no secret…your environment affects your mindset and how you see yourself & your world. So, it’s important to know what relationships will work for you and those that will work against you. Having the right people around will add to your growth. In today’s article, we will discuss three relationships you should have to fast track your success and live your best life.

Over the years, I’ve learned to appreciate those individuals who bring great pleasure to my life. On the contrary, for those who merely try to suck the joy and life out of me, I make it my mission to set healthy boundaries with them.

It’s just no fun hanging out with people who constantly drain you of your power!

This is why…I’m so excited to share with you three relationships you should have nowadays to improve your life. If you don’t have all three, you may want to re-consider for the sake of your own personal growth and development.

These three relationships have allowed me to be more, go farther, and excel in life. Do you have them?

# 1 – A relationship that increases your faith and belief in God

It’s so important to have God as the core of who you are. When you can tap into His power and allow everything you do to connect also to Him, you are setting yourself up for success. One way to increase your faith & belief is to associate with a local church or group whose focus is Jesus & His finished work on the cross. When you seek Him, everything else will follow. Increase your faith and you will increase your chances of being wildly successful at the same time.

#2 – A relationship that inspires & motivates you to take action

I don’t know about you but I love to be in the presence of those who get me moving and desiring to do more with my life. In fact, this year I have three mentors who are grooming me for success. Two are helping me to grow my own online coaching business and one mentor is helping me develop my leadership skills on the job. There’s nothing like those who are sitting where you want to be and are gracious enough to extend their hand and heart to you. Connect with those who are where you want to be and watch your growth take off.

#3 – A relationship where you are held accountable for your abilities

Accountability is a scary word for a lot of people. But, it doesn’t have to be. When you are accountable to someone else concerning your goals, it helps you stay focus and on track. My best accountability partner so far has been my husband. He loves to check-in on what I’m doing and how I’m doing. He encourages me when I need it and lets me know when I’m moving in the wrong direction too. But, most of all he is the one that I give account to of my ability.

When you have all three relationships flowing together nicely in your life, your success will skyrocket & you will undoubtedly live your best life.

Do you have all three relationships working in your life now? Tell me about it.
