I admit it…I love to study people. There’s something about successful people that gets me excited, particularly if they have been the “underdog”.
I want to know how they did it, what were the BIGGEST dilemmas they overcame, and how they escaped the circumstances they were born into. In other words, what allowed them to rise and gain the advantage in life despite the huge obstacles they faced?
Everyone knows Oprah, Joel Osteen, Dr. Cindy Trimm, and Tony Robbins. These are major names today and each are considered great successes. And, guess what? They have ONE thing in common. They ALL understand that words have the power to totally re-shape a life and give you the advantage. Words changed their lives, businesses, and ministries.
Oprah’s story alone fascinates me.
She was born into poverty in a rural town in Mississippi and endured a troubled childhood. She was sexually abused for years by males in her family and friends of her mother. At the age of 14, she became pregnant and had a son who died in infancy. Yet, she still went on to revolutionize the world of media by focusing on self-help topics and confessional form of communication. She often mentions how quotes (words) changed her life and she still religiously lives by them today.
Did you know Oprah became the first black female billionaire in the United States in 2003 before she was 50 years old? WOW!!!! She re-shaped her world by the words she used on a daily basis.
You can do the same on April 14th from 7- 8:30pm EST. Check out how!
