Why do men cheat especially married ones?
This question gets lots of attention but leave most women concluding that we will NEVER really know.
Often, men give reasons for cheating that mainly involve a reaction to something that happened or did not happen at home.
- My wife does not give me enough sex or no sex.
- My wife spends all her time with the kids.
- My wife neglected me and I found someone to take care of my needs.
- My wife nags too much and I needed some relief.
- And the list goes on…
Please note: The blame is ALWAYS placed on his spouse – something she did or did not do. But, he rarely takes any of the blame.
Men, it’s time to grow up and take responsibility for your life, your actions, and your sexual cravings.
Here are 3 reasons why men cheat:
Men cheat because they make a conscious decision to do so.
The mere act of scheduling time away to meet another woman, reserving a hotel room, undressing, getting busy, and enjoying the moment ALL constitute conscious decisions. No one can force you to make plans or even put a gun to your head demanding you to enjoy sexual favors.
Men cheat because they get caught up in the moment and stop thinking with their heads (wink).
My pastor often jokes in our life classes that when men feel sexual everything in his BIG head (brain) turns off because all the blood flow rushes to the private area of his body. Without self-control and a true commitment to marriage, any proposition for sex with any woman other than your wife sounds tempting. You must take control of those emotions and get out of those situations.
Men cheat because women with no self-respect love screwing married men.
There…I said it! I could not leave women out of the picture completely. Some women enjoy having affairs with married men because they don’t desire commitment or marriage. It’s easier to target vulnerable men and make it their mission in life to get what they want.
Often, the women with no self-respect fail to realize that a “fill-in woman” NEVER qualifies as a man’s “full-time prize.”
Woman’s Day magazine wrote an interesting article listing 12 surprising facts about cheating that you should read.
