Have you ever used the word of God to resolve a situation in your life? You were faced with an angry co-worker who gossiped about you nonstop. You wanted to put her in her place but knew there was a better approach to resolving the conflict. Well, in today’s article we are discussing why you should use the word of God to change your situation and your life.
Recently, I’ve begun helping the kids write their own book. It’s so exciting to see them be serious about a project outside of sports or gymnastics.
Their book focuses on overcoming some of the basic challenges kids face on a daily basis like anger, following the rules, etc. It conveys basic principles found in the word of God. They are handling their own research and things are coming together nicely.
Elena made a statement that resonated with me. She said that this project is important because it inspires kids to change their life or even have a new life with the word of God. Profound right!?!?
The word of God holds your key to freedom in every area of your life.
Old Problems, New People
Where there are people involved, problems exist. This has been the same since the beginning of time. The word of God even states that there is nothing new under the sun. The prophet’s widow had financial problems, Abigail had marital issues, Cain and Abel had a sibling rivalry, and Job’s kids were out of control. These are all common problems we face today. Not only do we have time tested principles to apply but we can be assured that things will work out in our favor.
A Better Way Exists
There is a better way available to all of us. Even God says that His thoughts are higher and His ways as well. So, when you come to the end of what you know to do, look to the word of God to give you a way out of that dilemma. In fact, you should go there first to prevent wasting time and energy. Struggling to figure it out on your own, only leads to more frustration, anxiety, and a lack of confidence.
Enjoying A Clear Conscience
There is never a time when I’ve decided to follow the word of God and ended up with a bad conscience. It will never happen. Our Father not only loves us but wants the very best for us.
Life and handling all its issues can cause you to make decisions out of desperation and need. Instead of making that quick decision that could take you years to recover from, find your situation in the word of God and put it to action.
Life becomes easier when we use a roadmap that has allowed others to be successful and prosperous in life for centuries.
Employ the word of God to change your life for the better. Get involved. Use every resource available to you. Who says it can’t be easy to live your best life?
